UUBN participates in a local Interfaith Green Team group with several other congregations in town. These groups together are supporting the Ecology Action Center's Tree Corps efforts to plant 10,000 trees a year in McLean County.
Donations help purchase native hardwood trees for the project.
Please support our local environment and the practice caring for our earth by donating to the UUBN EAC Tree Corps fundraiser!
If you have questions or are interested in also volunteering to plant trees, please contact Larissa Armstrong at larissa.armstrong1@gmail.com.
The Ecology Action Center in partnership with the ParkLands Foundation, Heartland Community College, and the Bloomington Normal Water Reclamation District need your help to plant 10,000 trees this year in McLean County. Each donation of $5 will cover the cost of planting one native tree seedling at one of the spring 2023 planting projects. Please contribute generously to help us reach our goal of 10,000 trees!
Memorial or Tribute Tree Donations may be made in memory of a loved one or to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion.
Please note, to allow for spring 2023 planting, contributions are requested by the end of May where possible.
As the Ecology Action Center is a 501c3 noprofit organization, donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
