Get started with Community Composting--this starter kit is all you need!
Starter Kit includes 5-gallon bucket, "How-to" and instructions, 25 compostable 3 gallon liners, and Compost Kiosk Access Card. Composting service is included in the price.
Acceptable items for composting include food scraps, bones, meats, dairy, prepared foods, paper napkins, greasy pizza boxes, and BPI certified compostable containers.
The Community Compost Kiosks are located at Normandy Village, 1100 N. Beech Street, Normal, Illinois and AB Hatchery at 916 East Grove Street in Bloomington, Illinois. DONATIONS ARE STILL NEEDED TO PAY FOR THE NEW SECOND KIOSK. PLEASE DONATE TO SUPPORT EXPANSION OF THIS SERVICE.

NOTE: You may pickup your starter kit during regular office hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Fridays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) at the Ecology Action Center at 202 W College Avenue in Normal. Shipping is not currently available for this product.
